OSU to receive $664,892 USDA grant to train beginning farmers

WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressman Kurt Schrader today announced that Oregon State University (OSU) would receive $664,892 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).  The OSU grant is part of an $18 million investment from the USDA’s NIFA program to train beginning farmers.
