Designing the Food Web, a series of farmer and grower convenings -Jan 25th

Welcome to 2014!! We here at Ten Rivers Food Web anticipate a lot of dialogue and action within our local food system this year. To kick things off, we will be holding a series of meetings throughout our counties to assess the needs of our local producers. Please join us at our Lincoln County Designing the Food Web, a farmer and grower convening on Saturday, January 25th in Toledo.*

The purpose of this convening is to learn what our farmers and growers believe are the most significant assets, opportunities, challenges, and barriers in our current food system. As an attendee, you will have the opportunity to discuss the design of your food web, meet with other folks growing food in your community, learn more about Ten Rivers Food Web, and enjoy lunch on us! We truly need your voice to help us create the strongest food system possible!

Symphony of the Soil film screening: Join us for this special film on Saturday, January 18th at 6pm at Old World Deli in Corvallis. The celebratory documentary will be followed by a Q&A session with local farmer, activist, soil expert, and film contributor Harry MacCormack. Find more information here.
