LCMG Coordinator Liz Olsen: The Siletz Health Fair was a very well organized and well attended event. Over 30 vendors with focus on health and safety participated at the new clinic. Over 125 attendees-men, women, children etc.... We were busy and had fun.

Local Foods had large display set up highlighting the counties Farmer’s Markets, WIC and SNAP programs, the very successful Lemonade Project and highlighted local farms and fisheries.

As a backdrop, LCMGA chapter display got a lot of attention and drew people in and received many complements. We had quite a bit of traffic, questions and materials distributed.
...
Our many thanks to Dub Bellinger MG and tribal member who helped man the booth. OSU pencils, multicolored pencils and Garden games booklet for the children were distributed.

OSU EXT Lincoln Co Foods
Extension Nutritionist and her assistant had an active and colorful Food Hero booth. Hard to pass up really delicious spinach smoothies, healthy spinach salad with oranges and strawberries and a yogurt parfait. Recipes cards and books, really educational and informative handouts and give aways were well received.

Our presence was well received and appreciated. As part of our efforts to reach our rural, underserved communities this event was a great success.
