Sign Up for the Coast to Cascades Cook-Off’ at T&C County Fair in Lincoln County

The Town and Country Fair

The Lincoln County Foods Group
present the ‘Coast to Cascades Cook-Off’
with locally sourced mystery ingredients

The Lincoln County Foods Group will provide two (2) mystery ingredients to be used in a food preparation (i.e. salad, bread, main dish). Participants can choose to use one or both ingredients in their final dish.

Pre-registration is due by June 27, 2014 at 5:00p.m. Registration can be emailed to info@townandcountry.com or registration forms can be mailed to Lincoln County Fair c/o Town & Country Fair, PO Box 572, South Beach, OR 97366.

Pre-registered participants only will receive “Mystery Ingredients” from the Lincoln County Fair office (633 NE 3rd St. Newport) on July 8, 2014 from Noon – 7:00 p.m.

Local judging of the fresh food entry will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 1PM on the Main Stage. Food entries should be delivered at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds prior by 11:30AM. Prizes will be awarded in both youth and adult categories for winner and runner-up.

OSU Lincoln Co Ext. Master Gardeners Volunteers Needed

Celtic Festival June 13,14 & 15

Last year we had a native/invasives display, along with our LCMGA chapter display.  For the Celtic Festival we manned our booth for only 3-4 hours on each day. 

Something interactive is probably more of a crowd drawer and pleaser for both events.
Your creativity is always welcome.

Please let me know as soon as possible so I can inform the organizations if we wish to participate or not.
