Ten Rivers Food Web and Food Share of Lincoln County, with the support of several community organizations, are providing a $10 incentive to each low-income, Latino household that registers for a special, Spanish-language educational tour of the farmers’ market on Saturday, June 29. That’s My Farmer SNAP Incentive Program will be in full swing this summer farmers’ market season operating at three farmers’ markets in Lincoln County – Lincoln City Farmers’ and Crafters Market, Newport Farmers’ Market and the Toledo Street Market. Ten Rivers’ Food Web partners with these farmers’ markets to offer customers with SNAP Benefits $6 matching funds for market purchases.
Farmers Market Summer Schedules:
Folks can connect with their local farmers, food producers and vendors at the following markets:
  • Lincoln City Farmers’ and Crafters Market: Sundays, Year-round, 9am-3pm at the Lincoln City Cultural Center (540 Hwy. 101)
  • Newport Farmers’ Market: Saturdays, May 11, 2013 through October 26, 2013, 9am-1pm, Newport City Hall (Hwy. 101)
  • Toledo Street Market: Thursdays (along with evenings on the first Friday of the month), June 6, 2013 through September 26th, 2013, 10am-3pm, Main Street Downtown Toledo
  • Waldport Farmers’ Market: Wednesdays, Mid-May through Mid-June 2013, 10am-5pm, Waldport Community Center (265 E. Hwy. 34)
  • Yachats Farmers’ Market: Sundays, May 12, 2013 through October 27, 2013, Yachats Commons (Hwy. 101 and W. 5th St.)
