Master Food Preserver volunteer training
Offered in Linn and Benton Counties. Classes will be held every Tuesday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) beginning May 7 through June 18, with a mandatory orientation meeting on April 30. Training will be held at the Linn County Extension Office. If interested in applying, contact Pami Opfer at 541-967-3871 or Pamela.opfer@oregonstate.edu.

Three
workshops will be held before the final comment period for the new
FDA-FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) rules. $20 registration fee.
WSU and OSU faculty and extension agents along with representatives from
FDA, ODA and WSDA and are structured to go into more detail on what the

The Lincoln County Fairgrounds Farmers Market is back in full swing this week from 10-2. As you can see from the earlier post lots of fresh eggs as well as local produce, baked goods, fresh salsa, hot food, hot coffee and lots of your favorite artists. Olalla Nursery will also be joining us for the remainder of the month with fabulous plants for your spring gardening enjoyment!
