Beekeeping Basics Worshop, May 12th from 12-2:30pm

Beekeeping Basics -This workshop will cover basics: equipment, biology, environment, and an introduction to pests and diseases – which is vital to understand the current issues about bee health. There will be hands on work with the SAGE hives, and all workshop attendees will gain support and information to get started with beekeeping, including information on local resources, groups, and programs.

When: Saturday, May 12th from 12pm – 2:30pm
Who: Registration is limited to 8 participants

Ray on May 2, 2012, starting at 2 p.m. at Hatfield Marine Science Center (Hennings Auditorium) in South Beach – Newport.

The University’s presence is already strongly felt through its Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) and the Lincoln County OSU Extension Service.
